Hi TQT, the disabled mouse sure helps but you could guys possibly do more?
![]() There is this software user in CXQ whose nickname is qq_qq; he moves VERY VERY fast. He can move 30 moves without losing 1 second. I don't think he's able to change windows to follow software's moves if he moves that fast so he must have logged into the server with the software and let it play for him, assumingly. I don't think disabled mouse would be able to stop that since he could easily place his mouse in the game window. Is there any way you guys could disable users logging in with their software? I think that, along with the disabled mouse would cut down on the number of software players. I'm not sure whether you guys have done that already or not, just a thought. ![]() |

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not think that current version of JAVA have the ability to know what softwares or programs that users are logging in with. I am totally agreed with you and many others that this new method have cause many problem to your daily games. However, please understand that we are only trying to prevent you and CXQ players from losing to those who are using SW. Perhaps, there are many improvements need to be made. I am sure the webmaster are well aware of that and he is working on a better solution. Again this is the first step to promote and attract more chinese chess lovers and real chinese chess masters to play at CXQ without having to worry about losing to someone that is using SW. If you have any concerns regarding the content of this post, feel free to post it here. Hopefully, we will soon find better a solution that solve this SW problems. Until then take care, TQT |
